It seems like there is just no let-up on the number of problems we have to face each day. Sadly, we now have to be concerned not only about what we ourselves eat, but also about what we feed our pets. It is almost unbelievable what is in pet food these days. You may buy the typical brands at your local supermarket: Pedigree, Kibble and Bits, Gravy Train, Little Friskies (cat food), Purina, and so forth. So, with the drugs and bacteria like Escherichia coli and Salmonella thriving in such meats, as they do not always die during manufacturing, and when moldy grain is thrown in, as well as all the other artificial constituents, the numbers of which are too many to count with both hands, you then have a deadly canine cocktail. It doesn’t take a expert in nutrition to recognize that this spells disaster for the consumer, i.e., innocent little Spot.
